Morels have arrived at Goodside Grocery!  We have a very limited supply, so hurry in while they last!  We’ll be sure to give “morel alerts” when they come in…  It hasn’t been a great year for morel hunters so far, so we may be in limited supply all season.

Morels are a prized part of gourmet cuisine, particularly French cuisine. They are hunted in the woods in early spring, and those that hunt them know to keep their spots a total secret! Those that know about morels look forward to this time of year, almost as though it’s a holiday. I know I’ll be making some cream sauces in the near future….
